Education
A graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Boddie was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, GA. While pursuing this degree, Boddie was a member of two national mock trial teams on which he represented the Mercer School of Law. He also performed several internships, with the first being with the National Criminal Defense College under the leadership of Dean Deryl Dantzler. That same year, he assisted the Houston County Public Defender’s Office with the defense of a rape case, sitting as second-chair at the jury trial and obtaining a not-guilty verdict for his client. Boddie’s third internship was with renowned Criminal Defense Attorney and Law Professor Cynthia W. Roseberry, where he gained invaluable training and experience in federal criminal defense representation and superior court trial procedures.
